
Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the European Union, Belgium and Norway
On August 1 st , 2006 a Royal Decree issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II appointed Ahmad Khalaf Masa'deh as Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union. The ambassadorial appointment of Dr. Masa'deh has rendered him the youngest Ambassador among Jordanian ambassadors. This adds to his record as being currently the youngest Jordanian Minister as he was appointed in 2004 by His Majesty King Abdullah II as a Minister of State for Public Sector Reform in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Faisal Al-Fayez.
Ahmad Masa'deh Holds an LL.B. degree (with honours) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Jordan (1991), a diploma in the US Legal System from Georgetown Law Center in Washington D.C. (1991), an LL.M. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville USA (1992), and a PhD degree in investment and WTO law from King's College London, United Kingdom (2000).
In August 2006, Ambassador Masa'deh was decorated by His Majesty King Abdullah II with the Decoration of Independence – Level 1.
